An academic project, investigating the notion of the “life cycle” using information design.

The final submission examined the life cycle of the British Parliament, focusing specifically on comparing the Conservative government of 1979 to 1997 and the Labour government of 1997 to 2010. Employing a consistent palette of red and blue to signify the two parties, the end product consisted of a hand-made box containing various printed materials in different formats.

Comparative data was presented relating to the parliamentary structure of each successive government in the House of Commons, performance in opinion polls, the fluctuation of public opinon on key issues, and a detailed interrogation of demographic data at each election during this period.
